Opening of Schools 2003-04
While the superb academic and cultural accomplishments of Great Neck's students have been nationally and internationally recognized, and while the majority of our students are accepted at competitive colleges, and while our high school programs are recognized by admissions officers at those colleges as having substance and integrity, our schools are diverse and some students struggle academically. It is these students who are the target of this recent federal legislation, which requires each state to develop an accountability plan to identify those who are not proficient.

GN Park District Women's B2 Tennis Term

World Team Tennis Junior Nationals
Justin Seidenfeld, a resident of Great Neck, participated in the World Team Junior Nationals in San Diego, CA on Aug. 14- 17. He was invited by the Eastern Section of the United States Tennis Association to be a representative in the tournament. He was one of three boys on the six-member team. The tournament was hosted by Billie Jean King and held at the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego. Justin will be a junior at Friends Academy this fall where he is on the Varsity Tennis team. Justin does his tennis training at the Robbie Wagner Tournament Training Center in Glenwood Landing.
