''I feel it in my bones, honestly, that we will be back,'' says Bill Dobkin, as he plans his upcoming move from Great Neck to Monroe Township in New Jersey. A Man for All Seasons: Ivar Segalowitz
In the springtime, the newest park commissioner, Ivar Segalowitz, makes sure his bike is tuned and ready to roll. Summer and fall find him sailing for pleasure and in races on Long Island Sound and in the winter he skates with his grandchildren at Parkwood and gauges every snowfall to determine if enough has mounded to allow for cross-country skiing on the Kings Point Park trails. And he recently proved that he is just as good a runner figuratively as he is physically.

Asthma Walk Exceeds Expectations
More than 200 walkers, whistles in hand, "Blew the Whistle on Asthma" on Saturday, Sept. 28 at Belmont Lake State Park. This first annual asthma walk, sponsored by the American Lung Association of Nassau-Suffolk, helped to support the combat of asthma.

Big Wins for Ginor Brothers at Grappling Championships
NAGA, the North American Grappling Association, the largest sanctioned organization and tournament circuit for mixed martial arts and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, held its 2002 Submission Grappling championships in December. The event included over 1,500 participants in 25 weight divisions. Competitions were held in the Gi (full marital arts uniform) and No Gi divisions.
