This year, the Great Neck Library will celebrate Persian Cultural Appreciation Month from March 15 to April 15. This is a wonderful opportunity for members of the entire Great Neck community to celebrate with their Persian friends and neighbors and learn about their very special culture.

The library plans to host a whole series of events, including the celebration of No Ruz, the Iranian New Year, on March 16. The children have already held their special No Ruz celebration at the library, and now adults are invited to enjoy the festivities in store for them.

Learn about the Persian culture. Remember, with knowledge comes understanding. And understanding can pave the way to friendship.
