We are pretty darn proud here in Great Neck. So many of our friends and neighbors seem to be doing so much! Seven Great Neck residents going to the Democratic National Convention this month in Los Angeles. The first Nassau County "cow" for Cow Parade 2000 right here in our own town. Great Neck's hometown college, the Kings Point United States Merchant Marine Academy, hosting our nation's first lady. We could go on and on ...

Each week, as we produce the Great Neck Record, the editors and staff are just amazed at the stories we collect. It is fun, and it is often very exciting. And, from the responses we regularly receive from our loyal readers, the public appears to enjoy reading our local news as much as we love reporting.
