Mina Aibel Takes the Helm at UCF

USMMA Basketball Wrap-up
"Quite simply, I want our team to play hard, play smart, and play together. If we can do that on an everyday basis, we will become the best team we can be." First-year Head Coach Bill Lange wanted this of his team prior to the 1999-2000 season, and that is exactly what he received. The Mariners posted their fifth consecutive winning season with a 17-11 ledger and advanced to post-season play for the fourth consecutive year. Kings Point, who was picked to finish fourth in the Skyline Conference in the preseason coaches poll, defied all odds and won their third straight regular-season title finishing 13-4. The team capped off an exciting year by earning the #6 seed in the ECAC Division III Metro NY/NJ Championships.
