Come play! Come watch the matches! It is finally here --- the UCF First Annual Pro-Am Tennis Tournament --- this Sunday, June 25. Play tennis with a pro at UCF's new tennis event this Sunday, as part of the annual Long Island Gold Coast Tennis Tournament. UCF will present a Men's Pro-Am Tennis Tournament at the Parkwood Tennis Complex, affording local players (with a minimum rating of 4.0) the opportunity to play alongside the areas top pros, as they benefit the Great Neck United Community Fund.

Presented in a round-robin format, entrants will play at least three sets of tennis during the afternoon, which features several notable tennis pros.
Pros include: Great Neck's own Jimmy Gurfein, a player in all four Grand Slam tournaments and in top 100 tennis players in the world; David Fischbach (pro in Great Neck Estates), First in East in 25 Doubles and Top 10 in East for 15 years; Keith Kambourian, First in East in 25 Doubles and Top 10 in East for 15 years; Rick Liebman, a top Eastern veteran player, as well as head pro at Parkwood for 17 years, and members of his staff; Willie Notar (head pro at the Fresh Meadows Country Club), director/owner of Great Neck Estates Junior Tennis; Adam Mandell, (Great Neck Estates pro and head tennis pro for Future Stars at Kings Point Merchant Marine Academy), First Singles at Yale University 1993-1995, and participated in NCAA Singles competition; Scott Seeman, first in 35 Singles in the East; and Ronnie Kahn, longtime tennis pro at Wildwood Pool and Tennis Club.
