Old Village Crafts Fair Sunday, May 7
''This will be just a tremendous day,'' promised Richard Stancati, as he announced the 22nd Annual Great Neck Village Business Association's Crafts Fair, Sunday, May 7, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. As chairman of the board, Mr. Stancati has been involved in the Crafts Fair from the beginning, and he is looking forward to another beautiful, sunny day, and another fun-filled, highly successful fair. (But just in case there is a surprise and the weather does not cooperate, a rain date is set for Sunday, May 21.)

School Board Adopts 2000-2001 Budget
Great Neck's board of education adopted a $110,823,000 budget for the 2000 to 2001 school year, beginning July 1, 2000 and ending June 30, 2001. The budget was adopted at the board's April 18 meeting, following several budget hearings over the past few months.

Great Neck North Boys Swimming Wrap-Up
The Great Neck North boys swim team sent four boys in two relays and two individual events to the states. Coach Peter Hugo and coach Jose Lopez were extremely pleased with the season as a whole. The States were held in Buffalo in March.

Tennis, Anyone? Tennis Everyone
The 2nd annual Rex Lardner Tennis Tournament will be held at Memorial Field, on Sunday, June 25, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The no-fee tourney will encompass three events: men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles, and is open to Great Neck Park District card and tennis permit holders. Sign-up sheets have been placed at the Parkwood indoor tennis site, Great Neck House and the Park Administration office and will be posted at Memorial Field and the Parkwood outdoor courts on or about May 1, the planned opening day for outdoor play this season.
