Celender officially began her run for mayor on Jan. 9, surrounded by a crowd of supporters and her fellow trustees Jay Ferkin and Ted Rosen who are running for re-election along with Conrad Singer running for village justice. The Mariners played their first home game of 2000 and despite shooting 25.7 percent from the floor, the Mariners defeated Mt. St. Vincent by a 69-49 score in a Skyline Conference game on Friday.
