Nearly 16 million Americans have diabetes - or about one of every 20 people in America. Adults, teens, seniors and children - diabetes can affect anyone at any age.

On June 6, the American Diabetic Association will hold its annual bike ride fund raising event. The start site for the event will be Riverside Park in Manhattan and will continue over the river and through the woods...touring the Hudson river alongside Riverside Park, across the George Washington Bridge and then peddle the Palisades through Bergen and Rockland Counties. You may choose from four exciting and scenic distances: 10, 25, 50 and 100 miles! The finish line and victory celebration will be in New Jersey on the shores of the Hudson River, overlooking the magnificent NYC skyline.

Interested riders and sponsors may join or support the Great Neck Chiropractic team, led by Dr. Mitchell B. Levine. For more details, call Dr. Levine at 482-3156 or the American Diabetic Association at 1-800-868-7888.
