  • NEWS: Great Neck Continues Memorial Day Tradition

    Continuing in the tradition observed since the early 1920s, Great Neck veterans and service organizations will stage a Memorial Day parade on Monday, May 31. The participants will gather at Susquehanna Road and Middle Neck Road at 9:30 a.m. and proceed along Middle Neck Road to the Village Green. There a ceremony will take place, including tributes to the Grand Marshal of the parade, Captain Donald J. Ferguson, and to servicemen, and the playing of Taps. FULL STORY

    With an architect's report recommending landmark designation for the former George M. Cohan estate at 100 and 99 Kings Point Road, the Kings Point landmark preservation commission is set for a public hearing to consider the designation.
