Paula Maier, formerly of Great Neck, died on May 8, 1999. Former proprietor of Paula's Specialty Shop in Manhasset. Wife of the late August. She is survived by Lois Rose (Ronald), Susan Gillespie (Raymond); stepdaughter Elaine Maier of Great Neck; and grandchildren Debra Neuhaus, Gary and Craig Rose, Scott (Renee), Steven and Janine Gillespie, Goulas (Liz), Paul (Alice) and Michele Marcy; and great-grandchildren Kristina and Nicole Newhaus, Somer Rose, Thomas, Rachel, Kyle and Katherine Marcy and Andrew Sepulveda. Memorial service at St. Aloysius RC Church. Donations can be made to a charity of your choice. Edward A. Bartell, formerly of Great Neck, died on May 8, 1999. Father of Linda McGinn, Nancy Clarke and Judy Ferrara. Brother of John Michael, Paul and Ellen Lawlor. Grandfather of Jessica Clarke, Peter and Janet Ferrara.
