Arts Center Open Ballet Classes
''We are about to enhance and enrich our wonderful existing dance program with a resident professional company and with the introduction of open ballet classes,'' says Great Neck Arts Center Executive Director Regina Gil. And the excitement is heightened with the addition of the internationally acclaimed Ali Pourfarrokh, who will direct the new ballet company and lead the open classes.

North Boys Volleyball in First Place Tie
On Friday, May 14, North defeated Mineola 15-10, 15-4 and 15-6. North also defeated Westbury on May 12 with scorers of 15-8, 15-3, 15-5. "We have experience this year with all six starters back from last year's team," commented Coach Nguyen. The seniors are Todd Abramson, Hal Burg, Jeff Kadavi, Robert Monge, Evan Weisbrot and Jonathan Wu. The remaining team members are all juniors and they are: Michael Gondafi, Keven Hakimian, Mohammed Khaghani, Mathew Myles and Vincent Wu.
