Stanton Cleaner Hazardous Waste Site Public Meeting
Thomas Gibbons, a project manager of the Stanton Cleaner Hazardous Waste site, represented the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation at a public meeting held on March 11 at the Saddle Rock School. He presented a proposed remedial action plan for the site to a good turnout of very concerned citizens.

The United States Merchant Marine Academy men's lacrosse team improved to a 3-2 mark in 1999 earning a split last weekend, losing to the 11th ranked Ithaca College and defeating the City College of New York.

North's Swim Relay Team Finishes 8th in States
The 200 Medley Relay team consisting of sophomore's Adam Nadelson, Zack Goldman, Brian Krypel and junior Adam Martinez placed 8th in the New York State Championships held at the Nassau County Aquatic Center on March 5, with a time of 1:42.62. The Foursome broke the school record for the 2nd straight week.
