Rebels Shock Westbury, Fall to Garden City
Mack Noble's baseline jump shot with two seconds remaining in the fourth quarter led the Great Neck South Rebels varsity basketball team to a 61-60 victory over the Westbury Green Dragons. Noble finished with a game high 19 points, including 13 in the second quarter.

Rebel Girls Track Team Runs Through Season
Members of the Great Neck South Rebel Girls Track Team have run, jumped, and hurdled successfully at numerous competitions. Among these meets are the Nassau Coaches Meet, the Colgate Women's Games, the Friendship Games, the Jim Fraley Conference Meet, and the Conference Championships. Some team members met Olympic champion Derrick Adkins at the Friendship Games. The team attained second place overall at the Conference Championships.
