The Great Neck Police Activity League (PAL) will hold registration for spring 1999 baseball and softball on Monday, Jan. 11 and Wednesday, Jan. 13, 7:30 to 9 p.m., at the North Middle School, and on Wednesday, Jan. 20, 7:30 to 9 p.m., at the Lakeville Elementary School.

The girls softball league, for grades Kindergarten through eighth, plays on Saturdays. Spring baseball camp, at Memorial Field, is 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., from Monday, April 12 through Friday, April 16. The coed baseball league, for Kindergarten through eighth grade, needs players for the fourth and sixth grade travel teams, and tryouts are Jan. 15 (call 482-7257 for times and location).

PAL mandatory pitching and catching clinics are scheduled for anyone in coed baseball interested in playing these positions. The clinics will be held at the North Middle School on Friday, Jan. 29, 6:15 to 7:45 p.m. for third graders, and 8 to 9:45 p.m. for fourth graders; and on Friday, Feb. 5, 6:15 to 9 p.m. for grades five through eight.
