Howard Last Announces Bid for State Assembly
Howard Last, a 25-year resident of Great Neck and past president of the Kensington Civic Association, has announced his candidacy for the State Assembly on the Conservative Party line from the 16th Assembly District, which includes Great Neck, Manhasset, Port Washington, New Hyde Park and part of Roslyn. His petition was filed with the Board of Elections in mid-July.

The boys volleyball team under Coach Jack McCullough had the team 9-3 and a first place tie with Floral Park atop conference three when both teams met for the final match of the season in late May.
