    A nearly-15-year-old girl confidently rides her gray gelding over a three-foot jump. The girl is Jordana Feldstein of Kings Point, and her horse is Show Time, of Sommerset Farms. She competed at the South Florida Regional Series for the State Line Tack National Children's Medal classes. She got to travel all the way to Florida to participate in this event during the winter.   • SPORTS: Let's Go for a Paddle

    There are goals that I have set for myself throughout my life. One aspiration was to join a master's swim team and compete in sprint triathlons. Another was to run the Long Island Half Marathon at age 50. The circumnavigation of Manhattan Island was one more achievement I wanted to add to my list. Richard Arenella, Steve Faber, (who bought a kayak just because he wanted to circumnavigate Manhattan), Bob Gordon, and I, all from Great Neck, completed the MASK paddle around Manhattan on July 11, 1998.
