The Great Neck Bandits Fifth-Grade Travel Soccer Team ended the season with a shutout of the Lynbrook Ravens. The Bandits dominated the entire game and demonstrated that teamwork is the key to success. The offense was brilliant and by halftime the score was 7-0. Goals were scored by Jonathan Kestenbaum, Danny Khorshad, Amit Matalon, Matt Neman, Robert Rezin and Edo Samra. Credit for three assists goes to Adam Friedman.

The defense, Gregg Ackerman, David Gordon and Frank Lalezarzadh was unyielding. An observer commented that they were like a "human wall." Furthermore, goalie Jordan Smith stopped the most serious threat of the game with a diving catch. David Gordon, goalie in the second half, was also flawless.

The Bandits appreciate the efforts of their coach Richard Kestenbaum and end this season with a lot of spirit and enthusiasm for next year.
