  • NEWS: Squire Theater Sold

    Great Neck's Squire Movie Theater is in the process of being sold to Clearview Cinema Group, Inc. The contract has been signed and the closing is expected in four to six weeks, according to Clearview Director of Corporate Communications, John Halecky. Clearview, the Great Neck Arts Center, and the Village of Great Neck Plaza all report satisfaction with negotiations to date, and it appears that the movie theater will continue to run the same type of movies and will continue its flourishing relationship with the Arts Center.     The Great Neck Library is about to undertake the renovation of the Lakeville branch, committing to a long-term stay at the 475 Great Neck Road location.
