EJ Bradley, currently playing for the University of Wisconsin Badgers, received his start in the Great Neck Park District hockey program. He is currently a senior at the university. EJ played with the park district hockey team from 1980 to 1987 until the age of twelve. His father, Gene, was once the director of the Great Neck hockey program and is currently the maintenance supervisor for the Great Neck Park District. His proud mother, Phyllis, is a figure skating professional on Long Island. EJ later went on to play in Prep School and in Jr. "A" Tier 2 in Toronto. Besides the honor of playing on one of the best Division I college hockey teams, EJ was drafted by the Philadelphia Flyers and is currently Flyer's property. The park district wishes EJ luck and hope to see him at the Flyer's training camp next fall. Hockey runs in the Bradley family. EJ has a brother, Gregg, who also played in the Great Neck Park District hockey program and is now playing junior hockey in North Dakota. |
