Hillel Edward Hannes, of Kings Point, died on Nov. 7, 1997. He was the founder, developer and owner of the 707 Company, an aerosol manufacturing establishment. His love of life and generous spirit was inspirational to many.
He was a beloved husband to Ann; a loving father to Richard and Peter; and a dear and tender grandfather to Sheri and David; and a gem to all the people whose lives he has touched in so many meaningful ways.
A memorial service was held at the Riverside Nassau North Chapel.

George C. Reuther, 91, formerly of Great Neck, died on Nov. 16, 1997. He was retired from Consolidated Edison Co. and a member of St. Aloysius RC Church. Husband of Kathleen (nee Connelly). Martha Krug, of Great Neck, died on Nov. 17, 1997. Past president of the Rosary Society of St. Aloysius RC Church and past director of the Senior Citizens of St. Aloysius. Wife of the late Peter. Mother of Joyce Stein and Marcia Muller. Sister of Stanley Kerdock, Ann Thater and Sr. Mary Elizabeth. Grandmother of six. Great-grandmother of three.
