Belgrave Water Pollution Control District

Board of Commissioners will conduct a public business meeting every Monday at 7 p.m. If Monday should be a public holiday, the meeting will be held the following day. Meetings held at Belgrave, 34th and 255th St., Little Neck. 487-2759.

Israeli Folk Dance Night

With renowned folk dance instructor Danny Uziel. Beginners welcome. For the first 30 minutes Danny will instruct. Then move to some more intermediate dances for everyone to enjoy. Exhibit at Gallery Emanuel

In a Mind's Eye, works by Barbara Schwartz, Shellie Schneider, Paul Jeffries and Kiki Riskin, will be on view through Jan. 5. A work by gallery director Liz Gribbin will also be on exhibit. National Drawing Association Selections

The Great Neck Community Church

2 Stoner Ave. will be holding an open session for individuals seeking to unite in marriage but who come from multi-denominational religious backgrounds. What It All Means. Project Identity presents the Max Schwartz Memorial Lecture Series, sponsored by his family in his merit and given by one of the great pioneers and leaders in Israel today, Yechiel Leiter. The series will explore: Was it really odd of G-d to choose the Jews? Can the idea of a "Chosen People" be relevant to the modern world? "Reward and Punishment:" in the land or in heaven?
