Cove Welcomes Long Island Teen Challenge Program

The community thanks all of the organizations that contributed to a fun-filled successful “Teen Challenge Program” held in September at Kennedy Heights in Glen Cove.  The Long Island Teen Challenge/Rock The Block Organization provided the activities and service to our community. Thanks to the organizers: the Glen Cove Housing Authority,  the American Legion Young-Simmons Post 1765, the Glen Cove Boys and Girls Club, the Glen Cove Youth Bureau, the Glen Cove N.A.A.C.P. and the Glen Cove Alumni for Youth, as well as, Calvary AME Church, First Baptist Church and First Church of God in Christ.
