In order to hold a track meet it takes the hands of many working as one. The coaches would like to thank the parents who volunteered, students from Glen Cove High School track team, North Shore High School track team and the Boy Scouts from Troop 6. They would also like to thank Glen Cove High School for making the facility available, Glen Cove EMS for being on site all day and Aratas Deli from Sea Cliff. A special thank you to Dylan Brady from North Shore Middle School. His version of the National Anthem was extra special.
The team would also like to thank the 2011 sponsors; VFW Post #347, Glen Cove PBA, State Farm Insurance – Agent Suzanne Boutros, Napster Inc. and Camilleri Institute of Leadership.
The coaches will now focus on the remaining 6 meets and preparing their athletes to compete for a Long Island CYO championship.
