The polls closed days ago – and now for weeks and weeks, we are subject to the eyesore of political candidates signs all over our towns. The election is over so why are the signs still out? Why are they lying in the roads and strewn on people’s lawns and businesses? Where are the people that put up these signs?
I recently took a walk downtown and wondered, where is Tim Tenke? He seems to be the worst offender. What would happen if a car just happened to hit one of those stakes and it flew through a car window or hit someone nearby? I don’t want to find out. Our community children walk to Deasy School along this road.
Mayor Suozzi, how about a ruling that these politicians must clean up their messes within three days of the closing of these polls. At this point this is littering and dumping.
Win or lose – clean it up!
