Letter: In Memory of Michael Galluccio

On July 16, the City of Glen Cove lost one of its finest members, Michael Galluccio. To know Mike was to love Mike. He had a great personality and a wonderful sense of humor. There was a unique tone in his voice whenever he would say hello or joke around that never failed to put a smile on your face or make you laugh. He was always fun to be around, and how lucky we are to have known him and to have called him a friend. He was a “class act.” At the funeral mass, Father Michael Ralph described him perfectly with a few simple words: “Mike was a heck of a guy.” We love you Mike and you will be dearly missed by family and friends. Mike, in the words of Ralph Kramden, “You’re the Greatest!” Rest In Peace.
