Joan Lawrence, of Mill Neck and Deerfield Beach, FL, died on Dec. 6, 2009. Joan was an elementary school teacher for over 30 years at the Glenwood Landing School. Wife of Thomas Lawrence. Mother of Alexandria (Andrew) Ross. Sister of Natasha (Lorne) Price. Grandmother of Robert Ross. Memorial visiting Thursday from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. at the Whitting Funeral Home, 300 Glen Cove Ave., Glen Head. Memorial Mass Friday 9:30 a.m. at St. Dominic’s RC Church, Oyster Bay.
