Obituary: Christina H. Towns

Christine H. Towns, of Glen Cove, died peacefully on April 2, 2012 at age 96. She was Past Chief Daughter of Lady Lindsay, active participant and former treasurer of British War Vets. Long time member of the Locust Valley Reformed Church. She traversed the Atlantic many time to visit relatives in Scotland. Wife of the late John. Mother of Bruce Nelson. Sister of Alice DiLeo and the late Mary Iaconelli. Grandmother of Jessica A. Bobick and Jeremy E. Nelson. Great-grandmother of J.R. Nelson and Kayla A. Bobick. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation and service held at the Funeral Home of Dodge-Thomas, Glen Cove. Interment private. Donations may be made to the Locust Valley Reformed Church.
