Obituary: Orma Alice Donohue

Orma Alice “Billie” Donohue, of Sea Cliff, died on Feb. 28, 2012. A graduate of Southampton School of Nursing, she was an early promoter of healthy diet vs. medication. Also an Adelphi graduate, she loved archaeology and history. Feline rescue was a great concern. Her quick wit and sharp observations entertained all who knew her. She will be sorely missed. Wife of the late Charles. Mother of Scottie Donohue, Jeanne Donohue, Elizabeth “Beth” Crowley and the late Charles “Buzz” Jr. Grandmother of Grace Crowley Lutz (Pete) and great-grandmother of Will and Hannah Lutz. All services are private. Contributions may be made to Glen Cove Hospital, 101 St. Andrew’s Ln., Glen Cove, NY 11542. Arrangements were made by the Whitting Funeral Home, Glen Head.
