Eleanor Pickering (nee Stein), 79, a life long resident of Glen Cove, died on Aug. 1, 2009. Wife of the late Frederick Pickering. Mother of Frederick Jr. and the late William Pickering. Sisters of Millie Stein McNally and Sonia Doran. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Religious service was held at the McLaughlin Kramer Megiel Funeral Home, Glen Cove, with Rev. Michael Ralph of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church officiating.
