Marguerite A. Chase, 90, passed away at her home in Albany, N.Y. on November 10, 2012. She was married to the late Lester H. Chase, an attorney in Glen Cove for 66 years. Mrs. Chase is survived by three sons, Larry H. Chase (Gail) of Westerlo, N.Y., Jeffrey G. Chase of Sea Cliff, N.Y., and John M. Chase (Kerry) of Lloyd Harbor, N.Y.; two grandchildren, Kathleen L. Chase of Westerlo, N.Y., and Lester H. Chase III (Thalia) of Lake George, N.Y.; a great-granddaughter, Tatum E. Chase of Lake George, N.Y.; and two cousins, Harriet Howe of Hettinger, North Dakota, and Sheila Giordano of Selkirk, N.Y. Marguerite was predeceased by her husband in 2010 and her daughter, Margo Chase, in 1953.
Mrs. Chase was the daughter of Michael J. Tobin and Mary E. (Mae) Tobin and grew up in Mandan, North Dakota. She was a former resident of Glen Head on Long Island for 60 years before moving to Albany, where she resided for 8 years. While she did volunteer work and was active in the schools and a member of several clubs, she was a devoted mother and wife whose main focus was to her family. Mrs. Chase was known for her graciousness, kindness and desire to help others.

Ellen Carol McGuire (Manley) was called to the place the Lord has prepared for her on Nov. 4, 2012. Her father, Robert G. Manley; her mother, Glenna M. Manley; and Aunt Eleanor Coleman will greet her.
Ellen was born April 3, 1959 in Glen Cove. She was welcomed into the Manley family by her two older sisters, Virginia Schultz (Jeff) and Margie Urbas (Jay Armour). Ellen attended North Shore High School and went on to Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. On a beautiful day in May 1984, Ellen married Edward A. McGuire. Ellen and Ed have three wonderful children: Eric, Elise (fiancé Nathan Brace) and Elaine. Ellen also leaves behind Aunt Marty and Uncle Roy Moffitt, Uncle Ron Coleman, many nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers and sisters-in-laws, good friends and neighbors.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Glenna Miller Manley, and his sister, Eleanor Coleman. Bob is survived by three daughters: Virginia Schultz of Painted Post, NY and husband Jeffrey; Margie Urbas of Evergreen, CO; and Ellen McGuire of Wilmington, NC and husband Edward. He is also survived by his sister, Martha Moffitt of McMurray, PA and husband Roy, as well as 10 grandchildren: Robert, Kyle, Andrew and Kristina Schultz; Eric, Elise and Elaine McGuire; and Liv, Ian and Val Urbas.
