Maryanna Kronborg Mills
Maryanna Kronborg Mills, late of this community, died on March 7, 2010 in Syracuse. A resident of Glen Head for 47 years, she taught elementary Art for the Syosset Schools for 24 years and was an active member who also served in a number of leadership roles in the First Presbyterian Church of Glen Cove. She received her B.A. in Art from MacMurray College and her M.A. in English Literature from C.W. Post College. In retirement, she continued as a watercolorist and won the Long Island Award for Senior Citizens and was commissioned by the Danish Brotherhood to paint a watercolor for reproduction to commemorate the end of WWII as Danes experienced it.

She was predeceased by her husband Dr. James Mills in 2003. Her survivors include her sons, Kaj (Shirley), Kris (Robin) and her foster son Kevin (Ingrid); 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren,;and 2 nephews.

Services were held March 13 in Fayetteville, NY. Contributions may be sent to Hospice of Central New York, 990 North St, Liverpool, NY.

Albert V. Johnson passed away suddenly on March 5, 2010 at the age of 71. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Janice C.; his daughters, Viki Lyn Brown (Samuel) and Tamara J. Basile (Michael); and four granchildren, Joshua Thomas Brown, Rochelle Anne Brown, Lauren Moninne Basile and Jason Albert Basile.
