Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka, Jr. takes the Wunsch Auditorium Stage at Glen Cove’s Robert M. Finley Middle School. Come Friday, March 19, and Saturday, March 20 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, March 21 at 3:00 p.m. Tickets are on sale at the Middle School main office and are $8 for adults and $7 for students and seniors.
During intermission, buy a Wonka bar and you might win one of five Golden Tickets. Each ticket winner will receive a prize!
Willy Wonka owns a magical and mysterious chocolate factory. Although he excels at making candy, he would like, someday soon, to retire and he hopes to find the right person to take his place.
Everyone is excited to learn that Willy Wonka has started a contest. Five lucky people, who find golden tickets inside Wonka chocolate bars, will get a tour of the chocolate factory and a lifetime supply of chocolate. Poor Charlie wants badly to win, but can’t easily afford to buy the Wonka bars to look for a golden ticket. Lo and behold at the last moment, Charlie finds the final golden ticket! He joins Augustus Gloop, Violet Beauregarde, Veruca Salt, and Mike Teavee on a fantastical tour of Wonka’s chocolate factory. Inside, they will see first hand what a tasty, tempting and surreal world Willy Wonka and his Oompa Loompas have created for themselves!
Come and join the five golden ticket winners, Willy Wonka, and his band of Oompa Loompas at the Wunsch Auditorium at Robert M. Finley Middle School on March 19, 20, and 21. Call 801-7500 for more information.
