Garvies Point Museum and Preserve, 50 Barry Dr., will present “Masks and More” between noon and 3:30 p.m. The program includes several hands-on activities, such as mask-making and face-painting with natural pigments. This is the title of a program that will be presented by the Cedar Swamp Historical Society and the Gregarians at 7 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Glen Cove, corner of School St. and North Ln. The guest speaker, Dr. John Staudt, is a trustee of the Cedar Swamp Historical Society, history teacher at Wheatley School and history professor at Hofstra University.
