Featuring many vendors for shopping for products and services in the area. The annual showcase presented by the Glen Cove Chamber of Commerce will take place at Glen Cove Mansion, 200 Dosoris Lane, from 6 to 9 p.m. Free admission and refreshments. Call 516-676-6666 for info.
A Holiday Shopping Expo and free family event will take place from 6 to 10 p.m. at Deasy Elementary School, 2 Dosoris Lane, Glen Cove. Spend the evening doing holiday shopping and free holiday crafts and cookie decorating for the kids. Please use the Forest Ave. parking lot and entrance -look for the red and green balloons.
A preview party will take place at North Shore Historical Museum from 6 to 8 p.m. to view the new exhibit Winter Dreams by Monica Randall.
Wine and hors d’oeuvres will be served and guests are encouraged to dress in Victorian period costume if they wish. Music reminiscent of the time will be provided by Barry Rivadue.
Tickets to the preview are $25 for members $30 for non-members. This exhibit will be at NSHM from Dec. 7 to Feb. 15. The museum is open on Wednesday 2 to 6 p.m. and Saturdays 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Russian food, pastries, Russian gift items and jewelry will all be at the annual Christmas bazaar at the Church of Our Lady of Kazan in Sea Cliff. The bazaar will take place from noon to 4 p.m. in the parish hall of the Church of Our Lady of Kazan. It is located on Willow Shore Avenue, off Littleworth Lane, in Sea Cliff. Mario Buatta will be in Locust Valley for his book signing at Meg Braff Antiques and Decoration shop located at 92 Forest Avenue. Buatta just released his first book on design and has been one of the top designers in the design industry for decades. He will be signing his book, Mario Buatta: Fifty Years of American Interior Decoration, from 2 to 4 p.m. The event is free and books will be available for purchase.
From noon to 5 p.m. Throughout the village, shops and studios will feature their own work and will be hosting artwork and unique creations by other local artists. Sponsored by the Sea Cliff Arts Council. Many shops and galleries will be holding special events. Maps of the “happenings” will be available at all participating establishments.
The annual Christmas Tree Lighting in Sea Cliff will take place at 5 p.m. at the John Burns’ Green in front of the library. Entertainment, refreshments and Santa.
The Campus War Against Israel and the Jews will be presented by Richard Cravatts, Ph.D. at 7:30 p.m. Congregation Tifereth Israel

Alexa Hampton will be signing her new book, Decorating in Detail, at Meg Braff Antiques and Decoration shop located at 92 Forest Avenue in Locust Valley. Hampton is one of the top talented sweethearts of design and will be signing books from 5 to 7 p.m. Meg Braff will be in store, Braff has been featured multiple times in House Beautiful and Southern Living magazines. Braff recently decorated a room in the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island for charity and also has a well-known wallpaper and fabric line with free samples available in store.
The event is free and books will be available for purchase.
The Knights of Columbus #1828 will hold a blood drive from 2 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 27, at 83 Sea Cliff Ave. Glen Cove.
