"The town's abuzz," one Sea Cliffian remarked about the extraordinary turnout to welcome Bruce Kennedy as the village's new mayor. Kennedy won the election held on March 18 and was officially sworn in by Village Justice John Reali at the public meeting on April 6.

Public Speaks Out to G.C. Board of Education
The Glen Cove Board of Education meeting Monday night was filled with concerned residents, most notably a huge group of students. The public had come out in large numbers to hear the latest budget presentation and to voice questions and concerns on staff and program cuts.

The Glen Cove Boy's Lacrosse Team moved their record to 3-1 with a thrilling 11-10 win over Great Neck South. Tyler Ravener scored the game-winner with just 10 seconds remaining on a feed from Mike Pappachristou to give Glen Cove the victory.
