After dropping their first game of the year, the Glen Cove Boy's Lacrosse Team rebounded in convincing fashion, with a 12-4 over St. Francis Prep. After falling behind 1-0, the Big Red got on a roll and took control of the game. Eric Tripp, Dougie Tripp and Ryan Zupa each scored, as the Big Red took a 3-1 lead and never looked back.
Offensively, Dougie Tripp led the Big Red scorers with 4 goals, Eric Tripp and Kevin Gardrvits each had 3. Ryan Zupa and Mike Pappachristou each netted one goal. The Big Red next takes on top-seeded South Side on Friday.

Rounding out the defense were junior Brittany Baker and sophomore Heather Artinian. The midfield and offense were covered by senior captains Kelsea Valance and Yvonne Mennuti, Kelsea had 3 goals and 3 assists and Yvonne 3 goals and 1 assist. Chelsee Marks completed the scoring with 4 goals. "We anxiously await the return of senior Lauren Budzenski who is injured," said Coach Gow. This team is a complete unit and are beginning to put all pieces of the game together and this week will play Sewanhaka, she added.
