I want to thank everyone in our community who voted on Election Day. Whether they voted for me or not, it was tremendously important that so many of us did go to the polling sites to cast our ballots.
I especially want to thank those who did vote for me. It is because of that support that the talented professionals and volunteers who work in our district office will continue to provide unparalleled services to all our citizens, while I will continue to fight in Albany for the policies that are so important to all of us.
Because running for public office is not nearly as easy as some may believe, my opponent and his family and supporters also deserve commendation for participating in the democratic process.
As Thanksgiving and the holidays approach, I want to again thank the people of the New York State's 13th Assembly District for their support and wish each of you peace and joy in the days to come.
Charles Lavine
Assemblyman, 13th Assembly District
