I applaud Mayor Ralph Suozzi for providing the overtime needed to patrol the Landing area. In light of the recent negative activities, it is sad for me to say that this is proof positive. Although we are grown adults, we need "babysitters" (for lack of a better word) in the Landing to keep things in control. I mean no disrespect to the Glen Cove Police Department. I pray each and everyone of you doesn't get hurt responding to the "adult children" of our community who don't know how to behave, respect laws and the enforcement of them.

Again, thank you Mayor Ralph for allowing our community the extra care we desperately need and have been starving for.
