Opinion

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that attended our first official picnic since the closure of the PCB Goliath/Photocircuits Corporation of Glen Cove. But most importantly, I would like to thank Sal Comitino and his staff from the Old Brookville Deli for making this event even more successful. His commitment to excellence was outstanding as was his professionalism.

Prior Photocircuits employees gathered together from all across Long Island and as far away as Sterling, VA, on Aug. 16 at the Teddy Roosevelt Park in Oyster Bay. It was a picture-perfect day, and it was so very nice to see many of our former colleagues and friends with their growing families.

Sal and his staff not only delivered our picnic in a timely fashion, but the food was fresh, hot and delicious. If it was not for him and his staff, we would have had so much more work on our hands than we could have handled. The gathering was such a success that we all decided to try to make this an annual event - with Old Brookville Deli's help, of course!

So this is for Sal and his team. Thank you, thank you for making a bittersweet gathering so unforgettable!
