Beatrice Davidson was born in Philadelphia, PA, on April 7, 1914. She died on Feb. 14, 2008 at the Evergreens Retirement Community, Moorestown, NJ.
She graduated from Girls High School. She received a B.S. degree in merchandising from Temple University. Her first job after college was at LIT Brothers, the oldest department store in Philadelphia. She was given a pseudonym, Linda Ross, fashion coordinator.
Beatrice met her husband, Lester Schwarz who was working for the Securities and Exchange Commission in Philadelphia. They were engaged in seven weeks, and married in14 weeks. She and Lester moved to Glen Cove about 50 years ago. She created a service, Hi Neighbor. She greeted new home owners, presented them with gifts from the merchants, and informed them about the amenities of the city. She later became a real estate broker and referral agent for Daniel Gale in Locust Valley. She and her husband were members of Congregation Tifereth Israel.
Beatrice was president of the women's club. She leaves two daughters, Marjorie Chodikoff (David) of Moorestown, NJ, and Andrea Waldman (Leon) of New York City and five grandchildren: Adam Chodikoff, Amy Craig (Tim), Elisha Waldman, Adir Waldman (Tamara) and Merav Waldman.

Peter J. Malinaro, of Levittown, formerly of Glen Cove, passed away on March 28, 2008. Born in 1924, he was a Navy veteran of WWII. Father of Rosemary and Peter. Grandfather of five. Brother of Susan and Dominick (Arizona). Interment Holy Rood Cemetery.
William Graham died peacefully on April 22, 2008. Born in 1919, Bill lived in Locust Valley for many years. Bill served in the Navy Reserves for 20 years as a pilot. He flew the Navy's first jet and was called back to active duty during the Berlin crises and sent to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba where he flew night missions searching for submarines. He was also a New York City police officer for 20 years, his persona and good looks were used by the New York Police Department on their posters, hung all over the city and in the subways. He went onto fundraising for Lenox Hill Hospital and Fordham University.
He is preceded in death by his wife Kathleen Healy Graham and daughter Jill Graham Kesseler. Survived by his daughter Joyce Graham Bullen, granddaughters Melissa Bullen Johnson, Alicia Bullen Fox and Lauren Kessler Doyle.

Angela "Anne" T. Werino, of Glen Cove, in her 90th year died with grace and dignity on April 23, 2008. Retired secretary of Glen Cove High School for over 35 years. Wife of Fred.
