The North Shore wrestling team hosted this year's qualifier at the high school. It was a great event thanks to the help of all the parents. There were 12 All Conference wrestlers: Glen Gerbush, Nick Caparelli, Danny Grabher (seventh grade), Rob Grabher, Joe Denovellis, Paul Faglione, Pierce Janssen, Paul Wefer, Michael Treco, Charlie Whaler, Joe Manzione, and Tommy McCarthy. The competing teams were MacArthur (No.1 in the county), Farmingdale, Seaford, Mineola, Herricks, and Plainview.

Pierce Janssen, Paul Wefer, Joe Denovellis, Michael Treco and Robert Grabher all qualified to go to the County Tournament at Hofstra University. Robert Grabher placed third in the county, beating the No. 2 seed in triple overtime.
