The city's 20th annual St. Patrick's Day Parade will step off on Sunday, March 16 at 1 p.m. from the Robert M. Finley Middle School on Forest Avenue. Sponsored by the Glen Cove Hibernians, which is comprised of the Ancient Order of Hibernians and the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, the largest annual parade in Glen Cove is an event not to be missed. This year's celebration will be led by Grand Marshal John Canning and Aides to the Grand Marshal Marylin Johnson and Jeffrey Moore. Parade participants will include elected officials and members of local community groups. When you hear the pipe bands and drums, be sure to don your green and join the Glen Cove community in honor of St. Patrick's Day.
