After a short hiatus in scheduling, the North Shore Vikings returned Tuesday night, Jan. 29 in Sewanhaka. The Vikings were victorious by a score of 70-54, thanks in part to a 37-23 second half. While improving to 5-2 in conference play, the Vikings were led by Chris Frey who scored 22 points. Bob Magnuson and Mike Lennon had 17 and 15 points respectively.

North Shore hosted Garden City on Friday night Feb. 1. Leading the entire game, the Vikings fell behind with a minute left, 52-50. Ian Hnatov answered back with a 3-point play to regain the lead. With 4.8 seconds left Zach Falk hit two important free throws to extend the lead to what would be the final score. The Vikings emerged victorious, 55-52. Pat Chaputian had 13 points along with 12 rebounds. Chris Frey added 10 rebounds to his 13 points and 8 assists. North Shore is now 6-2 in conference play and 9-4 overall, having won four of their last five games.
