Rose came to the United States from Naples, Italy, with her husband Vito and lived the American Dream. She retired from Roslyn Public Schools taught adult ed and was a Supreme Court interpreter and lecturer on Italy.
She was well-known for her many trips she organized and escorted to Italy which everyone truly enjoyed. She also organized and escorted groups to the opera in New York City. She will be truly missed by her son Claude and daughter Louise.

Sarah Teresa Glynn, of Glen Cove passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2008 following a short illness. Sarah is survived by her husband of 52 years, Thomas Glynn, her sons, Robert Glynn of Las Vegas and Chris (Cara) Glynn of Locust Valley, and her granddaugher Catherine. The family will receive friends on Friday, Feb. 8, from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the McLaughlin Kramer Megeil Funeral Home, 220 Glen St., Glen Cove. Sarah was born and raised in New York's lower East Side to her parents, Richard Culotta and Anna (Yashko) Culotta. She was the oldest of four children (Philip, James, Antoinette) and moved to Glen Cove in 1960 where she resided since. Sarah was active in the community as she raised her children and a regular volunteer at Glen Cove voting centers for local and national elections. Sarah was also an active member of the Democratic Party and worked at Glen Cove's City Hall for more than 20 years during which time she held various positions assisting the former Mayor Vincent Suozzi as well as in the payroll department.
