The North Shore men's bowling team concluded its season this week with four straight victories. It was not enough for the Vikings to take first place, but it leaves a nice taste in the team's mouth for next season. The team made major strides this year toward overtaking Sewanhaka for the conference title, only missing out on first place by less than 10 points. In addition the team finished the season ranked 18th in Nassau County, missing qualifying for the Nassau County Championships by two places. Congratulations to this year's varsity team of Taylor Ross, Steve Cottell, Kohe Brooks-Burke, Troy Kreiner, and DJ More on a great season.
An additional congratulations to Taylor Ross for qualifying for the Individual Nassau County Tournament, reserved for the elite bowlers of Nassau County. The tournament will take place Feb. 9 at Garden City Bowl. A last congratulation to this year's junior varsity team on capturing another conference title. Finally, good luck to this year's seniors, Brian Broker and Troy Kreiner.
