At a public hearing held during the meeting of the Glen Cove City Council meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 22, Mayor Ralph V. Suozzi introduced the public to changes to the city charter being considered in the organization of the Glen Cove Police Department.

With all of the hype going into the varsity basketball game, North Shore and Roslyn didn't disappoint. Roslyn's standout star player came in averaging over 30 points per game. He would finish with 43 in a victory over North Shore as the Bulldogs prevailed, 93-90.

Glen Cove Yacht Club Hosts New Membership Open House
Jim Dahl, commodore of the Glen Cove Yacht Club, has announced the opening of membership for the club's 2008 season. The Yacht Club, located at the foot of McLoughlin Street, next to Morgan Park, has waterfront facilities for all boating needs.
