On Monday, Jan. 14 the Nassau County Legislature voted to approve the takeover of the Glen Cove sewer facility as part of a countywide consolidation plan. The vote was 10-8, with legislators voting on party lines. FULL STORY

State Assemblyman Charles D. Lavine (D-13AD) announced from Albany that the City of Glen Cove has been allocated $695,000 in grant money through Restore New York to be used toward the redevelopment of the Glen Cove Ferry Terminal. FULL STORY

On Wednesday Jan. 9, the varsity women's bowling team defeated Oyster Bay High School. Kristin Zaleskie paced the team with a high game of 184 on the way to a 426 series; both are personal bests. FULL STORY
