The Glen Cove Rotary Club has replaced the old torn American flag at the triangle at the entrance into Glen Cove from Glen Cove Road. The flagpole was donated by the club a few years ago. The Rotary flag has been flying along with the American flag but recently Vincent Martinez, Sr. asked the Rotary to retire its flag and make room for a POW flag. The Glen Cove Rotary Club gracefully agreed.
