At the 2007 Bishop Loughlin Girls Mile held at the Armory Track and Field Center in New York City, sophomore Brianna Welch ran the fastest time in the United States this season for the one-mile run with a time of 4:59.27. One of the athletes she defeated in the race is an All-American and another is the Long Island record holder in the 800 meters.

On Wednesday Dec.12 the varsity women's bowling team played Sewanaka. Sewanaka bowled three very strong games and while North Shore bowled well, they came up short losing to this strong team. Brittany Cullum led the team with games of 147 and 145 on the way to a 422 series while Megan Silka had a high game of 151 on the way to a 392 series. Skyler Cullum and Jannina Rojas also bowled well for the varsity squad.
